Example data: A playbook that writes in steps: Brief, Outline and Draft are done, Review is waiting for approval, and Search metadata comes next. Approved content goes to Webflow on a schedule.

How it works

Keep every piece on the same steps.

A one-off prompt is fine for one draft and hard to repeat. Playbooks split writing into named steps you can inspect and change: gather the decision and competitor context, plan the brief, expand the outline, write the draft, revise it against your brand voice, and write search metadata. Add a review step anywhere and the run waits there until someone approves or edits the draft. Before you schedule a playbook, try it on up to three of your tracked questions: it writes each draft without stopping for review or publishing anything, and shows it beside what the assistants answer to that question now, naming the ones that leave you out; keep a draft you like in Content. The Library tab holds more than 30 built-in playbooks, grouped as earn citations, fix content, community, comparisons, technical and measure: comparison and alternatives pages, FAQ refreshes, pitches to cited lists and gap sites, review-site profiles, schema markup, community replies, responses to a competitor’s page change and corrections of a false claim. Each one says what it does, the kinds of action it fits and how many brands use it, and shows its steps and inputs before you copy it. A brand can share its own playbooks with the other brands in its organization, which copy them to use them; only the brand that shares one can change it, and in an agency nothing is shared between the agency’s own brands and a client’s. GEO Style adds playbooks to the library itself, with every brand’s name, site, competitors and facts taken out. Grids run one playbook across a list of topics or page addresses, with a status per row and a retry for the rows that failed. A run that stops picks up from its last finished step. Everything a run writes lands in Content, to review and publish like any other piece.

What you can do with it

  • Write every piece through the same steps, whoever starts it
  • Start from a library playbook for comparisons, outreach, FAQs or schema
  • Share a playbook with the other brands in your organization
  • Stop a run at a review step and edit the draft before it continues
  • Run one playbook across a list of topics or pages
  • Retry only the rows that failed
