Example data: AI crawlers on your site, checked against the addresses each operator publishes: GPTBot, verified; ClaudeBot, verified; GPTBot, not genuine.

How it works

Keep the door open to assistants.

Connect a Cloudflare Worker, the WordPress plugin, a Vercel log drain, Fastly logging or your CloudFront log bucket in Amazon S3, or upload Apache, Nginx, CloudFront or JSON Lines logs, and AI agents shows visits from 27 known bots by purpose — training, search, or answering a person — checked against the addresses their operators publish, without storing visitors’ IP addresses. A guardrail watches robots.txt, how your server answers each bot and a test fetch for each tracked assistant, and raises a Site access action when pages are blocked. Each page of your site lists the bots that requested it in the last 30 days.

What you can do with it

  • See which assistants and crawlers visit, and how often
  • Tell genuine bots from impostors
  • Hear when a change to the site blocks an assistant
