Find the sites that shape the answers.

Sources ranks the sites cited in the answers to your questions, with the kind of each site (company site, reviews and listings, editorial, forums and social, reference) and the format of each page (list, comparison, how-to, review), and filters them by kind. Movers compares the period you choose with the one before it: sites that are new, cited in more answers, or cited in fewer or none, with whether those answers name you. A site needs at least 3 answers in one of the two periods, so one answer does not make a mover; the weekly email lists the week’s movers too. Communities and video lists the Reddit threads and YouTube videos the answers cite: how many answers, on which assistants, whether those answers name you or a competitor, and the answers themselves; threads cited in answers you are losing also appear on Actions as community opportunities. When YouTube details are on, each cited video shows its title, channel and views from YouTube’s API, and the videos whose title or description names you or a competitor are listed by views; a video’s own page adds its likes, length, publish date, the start of its description and whether it has captions, which are never read. Each site has its own page with the answers that cite it, the questions it appears in, and how often those answers also mention you. The influence view picks out gap sites — sources the assistants rely on that never mention you — and turns one into an “earn a mention” action. A site’s authority is DataForSEO’s rank on Pro and Enterprise, with its referring domains and backlinks on its page, and otherwise GEO Style’s estimate from a fixed list of well-known sites, marked as an estimate.
